Applied Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer

In this second module of thermodynamics and heat transfer, students explore more advanced principles of thermodynamic relations, refrigeration and heat pump systems as well as psychrometric applications. Students consolidate their mastery of heat transfer concepts including, 1-D and 2-D steady state heat transfer, transient conduction, convection, external and internal flows, free convection, heat exchangers, and radiation exchange between surfaces.
